Electric Water Heaters (Geysers) FAQ
- We make use of the geyser code that is found on the geyser serial tag, the first 2 digits is the month that the geyser was manufactured, the alphabet is for the year that the geyser was manufactured, the number 5 is for warranty period. Example “D” represents 2025.
- Original geyser carries a 5 year warranty. The remaining balance of the warranty will be carried over to the newly installed warranty geyser and we offer a 2 month warranty on the electrical components for geysers older than a year.
- Replacement geyser – remainder of the original warranty period, the warranty period does not start afresh.
- Kwikot does not log a warranty call for after-market electrical components, the warranty lies with the merchant where the units were purchased.
